Salton Sea - Xerox Zine

Salton Sea is the largest lake in California. In 1905, outflow overwhelmed an engineered canal, and the Colorado River flowed into the Basin for two years, filling the dry lake bed and creating the sea. It rapidly became a competitor to Palm Springs and during its peak was considered a paradise. Unfortunately, it suffers from high salinity and pollution. Due to these issues, what once was a paradise has become abandoned and forgotten.
